1962 9' 10" Gorden and Smith Gun ,with 1 1/2" balsa stringer and black label the board is one of maybe 3 or 4 made with that logo as a gun that early it has been pigmented a cream color but still retains its original red fin and glass and stringer and tail block , the stringer on the nose has had some airbrushing done over top because of some old graying of the stringer but could be sanded off also the logos were put on over top of the original lacation which if sanded off will reveal the original logo's as well cond.9 restored $2500

1990's 10' 7" Phil Edwards Hobie Gun made for Sam George ( past editor of surfer magazine and famous surfer),this is a retro style full Wiamea Bay Gun and was ridden several times by notable big wave surfers of the time period This is the Only Full Gun shaped by Phil in modern times as documented by Mark Christy and Mark Johnson of Hobie Surfboards.
It is very pulled in and has a 4" balsa center stringer with 1/4" redwoods on each side and there are also 1/4"
redwood stringers about 4" further out toward the rails it has a glassed on laminated wood fin shaped in a classic Gun Template and the board is signed by Phil Edwards it also has a 10" hobie gold logo.
In a time when Buzzy trent Brewer replicas are going for 15k and Pat curren foam guns are in the 20k
this truly is the rarest of the replica Guns ,Phil stopped shaping almost 10 years ago due to health concerns .
